Igal Kukushkin

Project Finance

Igal is a partner in the Project Financing Department, specializing in infrastructure and energy projects and has immense experience in guiding private entrepreneurs and investors in bidding for complex tenders, M&A transactions, due diligence and valuations.

Igal specializes in designing financial models, leading capital and debt raising, and preparing various economic analyses. Igal has extensive experience in guiding financial institutions, local and foreign banks, and institutional investors in due diligence processes. Igal has led tenders and transactions in various sectors, such as conventional energy, renewable energy, defense projects, sea-water desalination, energy storage, transportation and light rails.

Before joining Beta Finance, Igal served as an officer in the Unit of the Financial Advisor to the Chief of Staff and led the work of the Ministry of Defense’s tenders committee as part of the plan to relocate the IDF to the Negev, including preparing the tender documents, formulating procurement and risk allocation strategies and managing the interfaces with the various stakeholders as part of the process (Finance Ministry, Budgets Department, Southern Relocation Administration and the various IDF departments).
