Beta Finance accompanied Ashtrom Renewable Energy in closing an investment agreement with Clal Insurance and Finance and Menora Mivtachim Group for the Tierra Bonita project. As part of the agreement, institutional investors will be allocated 36% of the holdings in the project. The Tierra Bonita project, with a capacity of approximately 400MWp, is considered one of the largest solar projects in Texas and is expected to significantly contribute to the supply of renewable energy in the region.

Beta Finance advised the Daya project on the establishment and operation of an organic waste treatment facility, which includes renewable energy production (bio-gas), located in the Eshkol Regional Council near the Gaza border. The project will be built and operated by Dekel Infrastructure, a subsidiary of the YSB Group and BlueGen Ltd. (the water and environment arm of Generation Capital). It will be financed by Discount Bank, which will provide approximately NIS 450 million in debt facilities for the project’s construction.
Above all the positive aspects of the project, its location in the Eshkol Regional Council is expected to bring significant long-term economic and environmental benefits, supporting the return and rehabilitation of the border communities following the events of October 7th.
